Without these yells, male Barbary macaques (Macaca sylvanus) almost never ejaculated, scientists found.

Actually, I think there's some misinterpretation there. Those aren't exactly screams, but something like monkey language for "Jeez, Zeus, enough's enough...okay? Your lazy ass may be just sitting around grooming the kids tomorrow, but I've got things to do....."
That's REALLY why the screamer's male finishes.
