Dang, why didn't WE think of that as a money making scam. I'm in awe.

I've positioned my messages. Depending on the recipient, they are:

Roses are red, violets are blue. I've gone to heaven -- screw you

Roses are red, violets are blue. God loves me and not you.

I thought $40 was a little steep, but then, what's more important than preparing toe the rapture. Oh, yeah - getting a cup of coffee

when i first started reading, my first thought was, well those people didn't make the rapture and are going to let all their friends know about it. further reading negated that thought. then it was a moment of reflecting...i am NOT going to pay someone $40 to send my emails to all the people who i am pretty sure are not riding the rapture express. if i'm not around, they will figure it out.

i've always wondered what will happen to all the animals/pets left behind. is someone going to do the kind thing and go around letting all the animals free? our pets left behind in an empty house or in barn stalls? of course, if they are doing the "kind thing" they wouldn't be here. kind of puts the creator in a bad light, don't you think?

Polly, a cynic, not that I am one or anything, might propose that splitting hairs about the details of the logistics of the rapture putting the creator in a bad light is missing the forest for the trees...

can't help it. my pets come first. mother and i were living on a 10 acre farm in sequatchie valley next to the sequatchie river (she's still there). Enter 9/11 attack. the talks afterwards were about more terrorism, nuclear plant attacks, and germ warfare. that was the biggie in chattanooga at that time, germ warfare. everyone was told to have an emergency plan, a place to shelter in that could be "plugged" up to keep the warring germs out. mother decided the huge walk-in pantry would be the best place to hide in. i asked where would my horses go? she said they could stay outside. IMMEDIATELY the scene from "close encounters" where all the dead animals were lying around (placed there by the government of course) flies into my head! i told her in no uncertain terms that my babies were NOT staying outside. i said i would put them, all 6, in the living room. my mother had one of her "it's my house, my rules" moments and said HELL no.. so being the wonderful, loving, horse owner that i am, i made the unselfish decision to stay outside with my babies if the germs came and we would sink or swim.

now, dan, do you think i would really want to go on the rapture express if my babies were going to be unprotected? i don't think i could go "up there" with a clear frame of mind.

this has really put me in a funk. i hope i am gone before all this stuff starts and i don't have to deal with it...sheesh!
