On FS-45/Peavine Creek Rd (the hella steep and curvy road behind Ocoee #3 Powerhouse) between Tumbling Rock Campground and Sylco Campground, I chanced upon this big beautiful 'shroom in a fairy ring of others that was about 30ft around. And, of course, the obligatory image from the area to vex Dan. :-)

Cool shroom! Did you get a picture of the larger ring?
I'm feeling kind of sheepish that I can't instantly pinpoint where that picture was taken. Above or below the dam? Above would explain why I don't recognize it, I think it's either at Double Trouble or Flipper.

Forgive the brevity. Back out camping but less remote tonight.
No ring pic, but I'll go back up there. 'shroom was in a killer little informal campsite up on the mtn.
Play hole is early in the lower run. Staging? Rafts eddyed up below the hole....10 or 15 of 'em.
Dang....owls woke me up. Life is good!

Ahhh. Makes sense now, I guess I just haven't paddled in so many years that I didn't expect to see plastic squirt boats.
Yeesh. Back when I was a kid, squirt boaters had to patch their boats, and paddle carefully so they didn't hit anything.
