Grassley gets it right

2009-03-17 14:51:19.634801+00 by Dan Lyke 3 comments

Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) speaks truth on the AIG situation:

"I suggest, you know, obviously, maybe they ought to be removed," Grassley said. "But I would suggest the first thing that would make me feel a little bit better toward them if they'd follow the Japanese example and come before the American people and take that deep bow and say, I'm sorry, and then either do one of two things: resign or go commit suicide.

"And in the case of the Japanese, they usually commit suicide before they make any apology."

And confidence in the economy will return when Westport and Greenwich are ghost towns, with dangling feet visible through the windows of the mansions.

Either that, or we employ Cheney's Executive Assassination Ring to take care of these executives...

I think that's a fair interpretation of "...to be removed".

Right on Chuck!!!!!

The idea of Cheney having personal hit squads scares the s**t out of me. Vote on on gun control. If people like Cheney represent the gov't, then we the citizens have to be prepared to fight it. (I have T. Jefferson behind me on that one)
