Just a YouTube video of test firing our trebuchets as we tuned 'em (we figure final tuning will be in the hands of the kids themselves).
Turns out the cheapest ballast that was relatively dense was just pennies, and we've got little smiley-faced bouncy balls for ammo.

they look great!! The trouble with youtube is that it recommends other things you might like, and then appears a trebuchet with some 300 kg of mass (tungsten!!) throwing cars. Did you consider tungsten? ;-)
Unrelated item - my spell checker suggests debaucher as a correction to trebuchet.

I forget the context, but there was a discussion about trebuchets in less developed countries where I proposed depleted uranium...
And I think that's displaced my previous favorite spell-checker auto-correction: The iPhone suggest "IMF" for "OMG".
