Someone shook the EtchaSketch and he

Someone shook the Etch-a-Sketch and he decided to start running a campaign: Romney promises no abortion legislation http://www.pulse.me/ap/69cd1cd...um=referral&utm_source=pulsenews

(Of course even if he managed to hold that opinion for the next few weeks, that says nothing about SCOTUS appointments, or signing laws that came to him that weren't part of his agenda.)

Yeah, at this point I'm falling back on my "organizations will drum up opposition when necessary to get contributions". So far as I can tell, the best thing to do to help Barack Obama's campaign is to donate to Romney's, and pretty much vice-versa.

If you can't find a counter argument to their position that doesn't make you sound like a dumbass then the only strategy left is to marginalize them or ignore them. You also get people to think of them in terms of which of the mainstream candidates they will hurt rather than what they would do should they win.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the only candidates worth voting for (rather than against) are the ones who get ignored or shut-out of the larger political process.

Hey, he's getting attacked from both sides? Maybe I need to reconsider him.

From the left, Media Matters calls out Romney's new stance, and he's taking flack from the right (AP article, so it'll probably disappear).
