Tynan's gear post

Nancy (dang it, her blog seems to have gone missing) forwarded along Tynan's Gear Post 2012: Zen Edition, which had some good recommendations. The recent flight to Ohio reminded me of why I used to carry a super tiny ultralight laptop, and we have taken to throwing ear plugs into every available mobile space so that I have a prayer of enjoying music when we go out, and I'll have to track down his recommendation for the Hearos Extreme Protection plugs.

I just got that email from Nancy and had some laughs. I'm "travelling heavy" in S. Africa which means two bags, one just for laptops and gear. In some places, his choices and mine are very similar. For example, the Kikkerland cheapy power adapter is awesome, I have one and it is an important item in my bag. If I get time, I'll take a photo and inventory the good stuff. My Asus Prime is also worth carrying..

Some things are not so portable: My 18.4" Sony laptop is -not- lightweight, but I love that large high res screen.

I still own everythingjustso but haven't had the time or inclination for months now to do a dang thing with it or any other URLs like happynancyday, stitcheroo and easydaytrips...one day...one day...

Tynan's recommended Hearos ear plugs look like generic foam plugs to me, but I want to try them next time I fly. I added bunches of his recommendations to my Amazon wish list ;-)

and I do love Tynan. I am his 'mom-stalker.'
