All of the answers to #1 there are clearly wrong. I log into at least one machine with over 40k Un*x users on it that has 30 directories in /home (/^[a-z]$/
and 4 special purpose ones, web server, ftp server, etc).
You could kind of make arguments for A, B and D of #2, but only if you were that student attempting to weasel out of a red mark on a test with "well, technically", because the actual answer is ntpstat
(or ntpq
with some additional magic).
The kicker? This is from Eleventh Hour Linux+: Exam XK0-003 Study Guide, apparently a study guide for the "Linux+ certification" exam.
Which means that you should not let anyone who lists that cert on their resume anywhere near your computers!
