Caught the latest installment of the Independent Film Festival in Chattanooga: Est-Ouest. Of course, like everything in Chattanooga, the film festival is far enough behind the times that the movie is available in the video stores. The movie features a young doctor returning to his home country, Russia, post-WWII, with his young French wife and child. The struggle begins before they even leave the ship - seeing a young man shot down while trying to reach his aging father. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, so I won't go into details.
