Heather Corinna, of Scarlet Letters fame, saw my plea for good erotic magazines and recommended Cupido. There are no english links off the main page, but a random Cupido photo page shows promise. And David Steinberg[Wiki] is one of their photo editors.

Just got email back from David, the subscription address for Cupido is (within the constraints of ASCII, which is how he sent it): > Hverdag as > Postbooks 1846 Vika > 0123 Oslo, Norway I think it's odd that poking around that Cupido photo page shows that they can't find enough of the sort of imagery that their readers want. They chalk it up to being a niche in a huge international market where other countries want the airbrushed siliconed sort: "The demand for this kind of photography is, on the whole, small. Consequently very few photographer bother making them. Internationally, Cupido is still a lonely bird. We do not know of any other magazine where the editor as well as his readers have such high standards." But I wonder if that's also an advertiser driven thing, that having a natural human look to aspire to doesn't drive the insecurities that create good consumers, so magazines that target this market can't survive economically.
