In late January Amazon laid off 20% of its work force. Then in early February, a Lehman Brothers analyst claimed Amazon creditors would tighten up around the end of this year. Of course Amazon hotly denied the report, but in the weeks following, other analysts have downgraded their prospects, including a rare Prudential "sell" rating on Amazon.
The current headline at Fucked Company pays homage to these rumours.
