Cool! I'm finally going to get my "switch statement" and it seems pretty obvious to me that being able to bytecompile the parser will mean I'll have perl on my palm soon. I may never have to write in C again (yes this is a good thing as I am becoming a lazy codger but still want code fast). The State of The Onion has usually been more entertaining than informative, but this year seems to be the exception and it figures I missed it.....sigh
