Name that Beer

It's harder than you might think. You get to see the beer bottles (with beer in them) and no lables and try to guess the brand from multiple choice answers. I got 6 out of 12 so I guess I flunk as a beer meister but I haven't drank most of those kinds of beers(rice adjunct)since I was in my teens.

I got seven right - Kirin, Mexicali and Lowenbrau messed me up. I could have sworn that Lowenbrau had a foil top but it turned out to be Mexicali.

Ok, I am spending too much time in bars...

Heh, I got 9 right I think on the first try...the ones that stumped me were Kirin (!), Lowenbrau (foil top got me too), and Foster's...I don't think I've ever drunk Foster's from a bottle, though, and I don't pay much attention to beers I don't drink.

Michelob and Grolsch were by far the easiest, I nailed those as soon as I looked...Michelob has that bizarre shaped bottle, and Grolsch is the only widely-sold beer in the US with a porcelain stopper type bottle.

Fun stuff Todd.

Grolsch switched from a porcelain stopper top to plastic a few years ago. There is an 'alternative' use for the porcelain stopper and I was devasted to see it go.
