BMI bunk?

Waist to hip ratio better indicator of heart attack risk than "BMI". Next they'll be telling us the four food lobbies groups are bunk... no, wait, they already did and replaced that with something based on equally dubious politics science.

and then there is the mantra of the diabetics: eat proteins and veggies, carbs kill, sugars suck. Eat a little often (every 2-4hrs).

Slighly off topic: knowing my ex-$InsertAdjectiveHere was a nurse, and looking back, her and her mom's family eating habits were as bad as if she was dishing out poison to me: Mashed taters, bacon greasy veggies, gravy, rolls.. Mmmm.. it was good. But nearly deadly. HHhmmmm... there was a large life insurance policy she kept on me.... I wonder..

Anyway, it took me a couple of years to change my eating habits, learn to listen to my body, and not buy things I should not eat. Except for Chocolate. Mmmm.. I love good dark chocolate. :)

But, dark chocolate has antioxidants that are good for you, so you're covered.

Chocolate's great as long as you go as dark as you can stand. I currently hover around 85% cacao. My wife thinks it tastes like baking chocolate.
