Quite probably. Also someone who managed to effectively find and exploit a cultural niche that was exploding, riding that wave to some fame. I was actually kind of shocked to find that The Feminine Mystique[Wiki] only sold 3 million copies, somehow for the way that her name comes up I'd expected that it was a lot more.
