Fairly simple. Hold the current after Tablesaw, then push through the obvious gate rocks and use the eddy to shoot down the right of Diamond Splitter rock.

If you miss the gate, don't try to make it over above the Diamond Splitter rock. Yes, I know it's possible, but there's a good chance for a nasty pin. Also, the lower gate rock makes a bad pin, too. Just warn the folks in Witches' Hole that you're coming through.

Hot move in a kayak: Catch the eddy below the lower gate rock, cut over to the eddy further river left, then shoot across above the hole to the boiling eddy behind Diamond Splitter rock, then drop down into a surf in the hole.

I love to hear from my readers, but I get a lot of mail. If you're writing to set up a rafting or other outdoor adventure trip in the southeast Tennessee area, contact the folks at OAR , my favorite outfitters.
