Auction off Windows?

After this week of fighting NT I'm as ticked off at Microsoft as I could possibly be, and the "Melissa" virus fiasco has lowered my opinion of their products even further, and I also think that the folks at http://www.moral-defense.com/ haven't made an effort to be as rigorous as they could be in their evaluation of Microsoft. However, it's also pretty clear that the masses deserve to get Microshafted pretty hard, and splitting up Microsoft will only provide more moving targets to combat. Consumer education, not anti-monopoly laws, are the way to win this battle:

Dear Petition Signer,

The iron is blazing hot. Check this out despicable piece of gutter journalism, courtesy of those 'unbiased' folks at ZDNet (yes, the folks who brought you the 'Nationalize Microsoft' article, and who seemed to be the only news carrier that has blackballed our petition from their news desk--I guess if they do not report on our activity we don't exist):

http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,2233239,00.html .

It's an article by fascist Mary Jo Foley who seems to hate the principle of inalienable rights, i.e., she thinks Microsoft does not have any. But, read the comments at the bottom from readers - I'm not sure how they will have changed by the time you check them out; but, when I read them EVERY SINGLE ONE was incensed that the government would even propose the forced 'auctioning off' Windows.

This is what changes history--grassroots activity. It's what killed the government's recent plan to have banks monitor and report on 'unusual transaction patterns' by their customers. A tidal wave of email to government officials killed it. This can happen here - tens of thousands of outraged emails to every state Attorney General, Clinton, Gore, Joel Klein, Janet Reno, US senators and congressmen - and the press.

We need to have this hit THIS WEEK. People have to be energized TODAY to flood the government with outraged emails.

Here's a site where you can look up your political representative and give him a piece of your mind: http://congress.nw.dc.us/innovate/

Beyond that, here's the actual email addresses for Klein, Clinton, Gore and the 19 state Attorney Generals who wish to rape Microsoft:

I don't mean to be melodramatic but the course of history literally may hinge on this.
