Great little article on localization. Well worth reaading if you're contemplating translating software to other languages.

One of my roles at work is translator-herder and i18n-markuper, and the issues in his story just don't come up as a practical matter. Perhaps my experience is atypical, but it seems like the author has picked the wrong side of the 80/20 rule on this one.
