I personally find this pretty funny, having been asked to stand-down my responses to blog posts by my higher-ups at USGS. Evidently the Military can handle the opinions of it's ground troops but the Survey can't stand it's PhD researchers talking about it's efforts.
I wouldn't have even posted this if I didn't feel safe on Flutterby because my user ID never changed with my name.
