Humans Glow

2009-07-24 02:39:06.829786+00 by ziffle 4 comments

Five healthy male volunteers in their 20s were placed bare-chested in front of the cameras in complete darkness in light-tight rooms for 20 minutes every three hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for three days.

I thought this only happened near nuclear power plants... if they used topless girls instead I'll bet they would have had better results.

Shoot, I've known this for over a decade. New Ager's have been doing kerlian photography for a looong time and using it to try to find health issues.

But Kirlian photography is about the coronal glow around a charged object, no? That seems different from what they're reporting here.

Seems when I stuck my hand in for the picture, it was set up to be a lightless conditions being photographed. Most folk it was detailed images right down to showing fingerprints outlined in light. Mine of course, was just tons of light expanding out well beyond the edges of my hands.
