Sounds like one of my days..
When changing code on a live production machine, I try to grab someone else for a second set of eyes and sanity check when possible.

Most of my code changes are on live production machines. Occasionally I'll end up with some way too exciting unexpected consequences but at least no one has been maimed yet.

Larry reminded me.. some of us (like Larry) have fixed production things that are attached to or responsible for incredible living things. Humans also!
