Thanks for the signal boost on that one. I have been having the devil of a time lately being polite about this stuff. Most of the people in the DIY electronics scene are really great, but you run into this weirdly intense streak of moralizing around sort of comically regressive gender norm stuff.

Commercial plugs are fine, if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't try to pretend to be a consumer.
