NSA goes 4chan

The big takeaway from the latest revelations about the NSA JTRIG program is that the NSA has a hell of a lot in common with Anonymous and 4chan.

Via MeFi, among a whole bunch of other places.

So how much of Reddit, Twitter.. etc.. are government operatives trolling each other?

I remember days of online child porn investigations where everyone (or 9 out of 10-ish) in the chat room where actually law enforcement people. I expect the same in any extreme fringe group online.

For the record: I am not currently working with any law enforcement / security / government organization.

I'm sure half the "members" of "Anonymous" think they're already double agents...

Ya know, the more I think about it, the more I think that this could be the perfect explanation for most online assholery.
