Interesting day in computer graphics: Pixar no longer exists, and SGI files for bankruptcy.
[Edit: td points out that I should have been more specific: It's not that Pixar as an entity no longer exists, it's PXAR the separate stock no longer exists.]

We're still here. My business cards still have Buzz & Woody on them. It's PIXR that no longer exists.

Yeah, I could have been more specific, but where would the drama be in that?
The real question to me will be how the culture at both places evolves over the next decade or so. Hopefully Pixar will give Disney that heavy shot of rejuvenation and fresh attitude that they so desperately need, and the culture won't flow too heavily in the other direction.
