This is my first attempt at trying to build a Wiki-like knowledge base on top of the Flutterby content management system.
This is a place for explanation, description and static links on a topic that's either too broad to be covered under a single link, or that you're just too lazy to find the real link to.

Prounounced "aaaiiiieeee", as in the sound one makes while falling or otherwise getting injured, IE, Internet Explorer, is the Microsoft
web browser for Windows
and Macintosh
. I seem to remember that they also had a version for Solaris
at some point.
My personal experience is that it's ridden with security holes, lacks important browsing features (like the ability to open clicks in a new window in the background, and tabbed browsing), and is generally something to be avoided at all costs.
Connectivity provided by highertech.net , awesome bandwidth, well away from fault lines and other potential for natural disasters, reliable, and run by cool people.
