Mr. Lyke, my name is Timothy Carr. I am writing you to compliment you on flutterby.com It is a nice blog!

However, at the risk of bringing bad tidings, I need to inform you that I own the copyright to Flutterby.

I am not asking you to sell your domain or even to change the name of your web site. For the time being you are more than welcome to use it. After all, you obtained the domain in good faith.

You need to be aware that a book has been written using that name (among others) and that when the book is published you may find yourself in a position where you may be asked by our attorneys to relinquish the domain name. However there may be a possibility that we can allow you to keep the domain name. If I can arrange it, I would prefer to do things that way. After all, there is no need to inconvenience you unnecessarily, and I would not want you to have to go to the trouble of getting a new domain name and switching the blog over to a new server.

For the time being, please enjoy the use of the domain name. At present there is no need to make any changes, and as I stated I would like to allow you to use it if at all possible.

God Bless.

Timothy Ayerst Carr
