Boulder gets an export from Chattanooga

The Yellow Deli opened on Pearl Street. I'm not going to go into the details other than to say for a city where Mork from Ork could walk around without garnering a second glance, the latest franchise of the Twelve Tribes will fit right in. The Boulder Weekly has a great, in depth piece.

Thirty years ago I use to hang with some of the folks in that group. Their beliefs were odd but sincere and I know of a few people that the group probably saved from spiraling into the gutter. I never saw evidence of child abuse but they did demand discipline among the children. I never saw any of the women disrespected but it sure wasn't a feminist group either. Thinking back on that time I would still rather associate with them than some of the mainline Megachurches I've been around over the years.
