It was completely and utterly FAB and I thought of you all! It was just the two of us and Eric the mechanic, who was working on getting the drum pads working. It wsa 10:30pm -- he says the city has them turn it off at 11 -- but he fired it up for us and it was magical. I was tickled, amused, and awed, and it made me smile out loud. I took some photos but they just don't do it justice.
It'll be there through the 15th, in conjunction with and extending past the second ZeroOne Festival this weekend. Although the first Festival wasn't all it should have been, I'm planning to give it another try this time around.
Anyone thinking of doing a field trip of their own?? (Don't you dare forget to let me know!)

ahhh...goosebumps all over again...and I admit some unshed tears of longing and happiness. It just brings back such memories!
