We had an awesome hike this morning: McClure's beach to Kehoe beach, via the coast. Caves. Surf. Rogue waves. Time pressure from the turning tide. Starfish and anemone so brilliant your art director would say "tone that down a bit".

the rock photos would be beautiful enlarged (close ups) and framed! actually, all of the photos were beautiful. i am envious of your ease of seeing these kodak moments up close and personal, yet unenvious that your state will eventually slide into the ocean <snicker>

Polly, I've got a 30"x40" Christopher Burkett print, Flowering Redbud, Kentucky, 1991 on my living room wall. You've no shortage of beauty in your area.
Every region has its beauty, we may have the tidepools and the cliffs to the ocean, but you've got acres of green, spectacular waterfalls, bluffs rising to plateaus, and lots of other spectacular spectacles worth reveling in.
