Ah yes. I made something like this inadvertently once with a small torch fire and a coffee can of fine sawdust that happened to be in exactly the wrong place. It burned out so fast that nothing was really hurt, but I just about soiled myself. That's when I suddenly became a LOT more aware of what flammables were behind or around where I was using a torch.
