Good idea, but the last sentence may not be true. Our 'hometown bank' (which has many branches, but all are in very small towns here in Michigan) received $75 million from the first 'bailout', despite being financially sound, with no 'toxic assets'.

Giving money to businesses who haven't squandered their assets and profits? What the hell kind of stupid idea is that?
