Advertising destroying credibility

Just got done with an air trip. I always check out the "Sky Mall" brochure for project ideas, and came across an interesting ad for a doormat. You send us your address, we'll send you a charming custom made doormat. The graphical example accompanying the ad was emblazoned with the text:

Welcome to 40o 75' N 73o 99' W

I figure only on Flutterby am I likely to find folks who find the humor in this.

Since it exists in a space outside both those degrees (given that the minutes are usually bounded on the upper end by 60), this could be one of those weird Lovecraftian n-dimensional doormats.

That must be a very big doormat to cover an entire minute in lat and long!

My dad forwarded me the image, which is way less compelling than I'd hoped. I wanted something actually location aware, not just text. But it is still worth a giggle. And who knows, maybe it is location aware if the coordinates are valid...

That's funny on several levels! But a little trial and error with Google Maps suggests exactly which pub the copywriters were in when they mis-transcribed the numbers off their iPhones...

So what did the sample door mat look like?
