My Status response: There were some complaints on #mediawiki earlier this week. Are you using AbuseFilter or the like?

A forum I run (phpbb, not MediaWiki) got hit badly a couple of days ago, badly enough that I disabled new users and posts. I think somebody made a breakthrough on recaptcha.

And as I responded to Mark on twitter: No on AbuseFilter. I've had a few drive-bys in the past, but last night I had something like 50 new users on both MediaWiki sites I admin, and a whole lot of new pages. Need to hack the code so that the default on the user ban page is "infinite".

Okay, AntiSpoof and AbuseFilter installed.
