2 hour fire wall assembly. From the studs, 1/2" sheathing for shear strength, 5/8" exterior rated Sheetrock, house wrap, 1/4" lath (air gap for drainage plain and wind resistance), HardiPlank siding.
Come the apocalyptic holocaust, my workshop will still be standing.
