Have you played Devil's Tuning Fork?
It gets frustratingly difficult after a while, but going through at least a few levels of it is very instructive for one's brain. The premise is that you are completely in the dark, but the game uses a visual analogue of echolocation - when you press a button a wave of light briefly "echoes" off surfaces. Using this one tool, you must navigate a series of platform-game style hazards.
