Give a man a fish

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day, offer him a fishing certification and he'll open up a consultancy without ever having seen a fish.

I feel like you are picking on me. ;) This week, I'm a white shirt wearing traveling consultant from far far away.. that makes me an expert. Yesterday expertise was Microsoft's HyperV, which I had never seen or even read much about. Side note: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS seems to work well under HyperV, whish is easy to use but is not as feature rich as KVM/QEMU or VMWare. Specifically no native USB pass-through which is a problem for my needs. I want a certificate!

Naw, you don't parade bullshit certs around. Big difference between "I can dive into this and figure it out", and "I have a BDSMNLOP cert and have memorized all the netmasks, but can't diagnose a flakey cable".

That's why there is NO education on my LinkedIn profile or resume.. I am PROUD of the AAMI and ASHE Certified Biomedical Electronics Technical and later Certified Clinical Engineer tests I passed as those tests were a bitch, and I had no education that they recognized.

Everything else I have learned in school was how things I have actually done, could not be done. I think you fall in the same group.
