Frank Petruccis three brothers and a sister died in the Colorado Coal War. His family and the nation still struggle to talk about it.
A little more on this era of American history in high school would, I think, make for a better informed populace.

Agreed. And thank *you* for sharing. I missed all of U.S. history in high school, so I find this kind of thing extra educational.

Yeah, I can't help but think that much of my hardcore Libertarian phase could have been skipped had I understood about the actual history of how the violence between union and those who'd avoid slave labor only in name actually played out.
