Now if the folks sponsoring you to masturbate ask to watch is it considered prostitution? I guess only if they masturbate too...

Depends on the local laws and enforcement. In San Francisco I believe both you and they can masturbate as long as you don't touch each other. If you plan on participating it might be worth checking with your local DA... (Giggle. I wanna hear the recording of someone doing that in Chattanooga...)
