Dan, make sure it's not allergies. I spent three years coughing my lungs out every spring to the extent that I couldn't sleep no matter how much Robotussin with codeine I took. It wasn't until a doctor final realized that I was cough from post-nasal drip and gave me some Claritin. After a couple days I was back to normal. Now I start taking Claritin as soon as I feel the snot running down the back of my throat... BTW, I'm Blue:
