Via Edge Case, which I've been looking for an excuse to poach a link from for a while 'cause it's got good content but is usually just outside the purview of what I like for Flutterby, promiscuity linked to a stronger immune system. Now before y'all go out and put this into practice, it is a species-wide trait and probably works more as a selection system on an individual level...

Here's an idea. We gather some data from the Flutterby community. Folks can post their white-count and their partner count for the past year. It's more than just vicarious voyeurism, it's RESEARCH...... and, for some, perhaps even social networking. <grin>
We will not edit your comments. However, we may delete your comments, or cause them to be hidden behind another link, if we feel they detract from the conversation. Commercial plugs are fine, if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't try to pretend to be a consumer.
