Dan, any idea what the 'Primary URL' field is for?

Yep. The "Primary URL" field is an override for looking for a URL in the document for when someone else with a discussion system finally decides to implement the discussion topic sharing system I talked about with Carl of Civilution ages and ages ago. If that's not specified, the last URL in the document is used for discussion topic matching.
