Didn't get a picture of it, but saw the license plate "2XYS1XX" yesterday evening. Wondering if they're poly, or if there's another meaning I'm not getting.

You are probably right about it being 2 males and 1 female, but it could be referring to the kids in the family or a couple with a single male child.

What kind of car was it?

Just cause I hate it when I don't get the reference....

2 XYs (males have one X chromosome and one Y chromosome)

1 XX (persons of female persuasion have two X chromosomes.)
