Sea of Silverlight has been publish which is the 4th and final book in the Otherland "trilogy" from Tad Williams Which also reminds me he is starting an online story Shadowmarch

Cam turned me on to the first books, but the subsequent ones have all seemed to lack any narrative drive. I realize that I'm probably missing some obvious larger literary reference, but at this point it all seems to be "they went along and they went along" witout any real development. Or maybe I'm just sick of Odyssey[Wiki] references in the popular media.

Anyway, I'll probably read the last one just to see what he pulls off, but I'm waiting for it in paper.
