I just had a chance to go back and look at the referenced article. I've got to agree completely with the appeals court on this but I also wonder if public safety is advanced in this particular case by their decision. This fellow isn't your average pot smoker. I'm all for the right of a person to keep and to bear arms but this guy was driving around with hand grenades and a silenced pistol. He was up to something. Although I've got to wonder why he would be concerned about the noise from the pistol if he was going to be throwing hand grenades.
