Via Need To Know, someone's taking Counter-Strike a little too seriously. Wish I could read the captions.

Wow I'd be pretty nervous about hosting an event like that. Not so much that real terrorist would show up but that some rentacop or guest would freak and have altercations leading to law suits. My nihongo is rusty but it seems to be mostly kanji. Here is a very poor babelfish pass at it.

Well, as someone who goes to a fair amount of cosplay sites (don't ask), I can't say this is any weirder than dressing up as Sailor Moon characters and reenacting television episodes. Or maybe that's just my perspective because I used to run around with water pistols in ostensibly-locked buildings after dark when I was in high school, playing Killer games with my geek friends.

I'm not sure why I thought this was appropriate to this thread, but The 50 Minute Hour pointed to a report of cops losing an MP5.
