Zimbabwe Declares National Disaster Over Food Shortages

_...the World Food Program says farm disruptions caused by a government program to seize white-owned farms for landless blacks has also contributed to the problem._

Lets see, kill all the farmers or take away their land - then there is no food - any connection? Until they stop trying for human rights and grant individual[Wiki] rights, this will never stop. Kill the thinkers, and you can't eat. Shades of Atlas Shrugged.

Of course the other issue here is that the extent of the international condemnation of the fraudulent election which kept Mugabe in power was the Brits saying "we're kicking you out of the commonwealth". I try to stay away from foreign interventions, but this is clearly a case of gang (the "war veterans") rule run wild. Guesses on the effects of Robert Mugabe's "extraordinary measures", or don't y'all take sucker bets?

(And yes, Ziffle, I see that you're giving all my carefully crafted regular expressions a run for their money. I'll try to get them to do what you mean soon.)

In other brilliant foreign policy moves, you wanna bet we'll be supporting Musharraf's recent win in Pakistan. Because he's our ally, of course, and wouldn't hold a completely fraudulent election.
