I like my pale skin the way it is, thanks, but I'm happy to see the palette of recreational drugs grow more diverse. Blurring the line between health and happiness is a good thing.

<sigh> I've never understood this whole "tan" thing. It's ugly. Give me sexy goth/geek chicks and I'm happy.

Tan ugly? Eh. I'll take the tan as a side-effect. ;-)

I'd take that Melanotan stuff if it were really all it's cracked up to be, though I suspect it either 1) will have some nasty side effect no one knows about yet and won't find out about until a million people have already used it or 2) will really be thus and so, but will cost about a thousand bucks a dose.

But, yeah, I'd take it. I don't especially care if I'm tan - around hackers being pasty white is sort of a badge of honor - but I like the rest of the effects in the package.

Especially the lack of enthusiasm part. I really wish more researchers were looking into a sex-stimulus drug - i.e. one that actually puts you in the mood, and doesn't just increase blood flow to one of the body parts involved. I'll skip the details but suffice to say that I'd be real interested in that product.
