Lolitæ

Just 'cause here at Flutterby we're not afraid to try to have rational discussions about extremely emotional topics, over at inexplicably fancy trash there's a look at Tadpoles and Lolitas.

Wow. Same topic, very different discourse.

I was going to through it into the other Flutter thread but it seems stalled, but I heard Dr. Edell talk about a survey that was done where they polled adults that had sexual relations as a child with an adult and about how they thought it effected their lives. Almost all the women felt it was a negative expierience in their life but the suprise is that over half the men felt it was a positive expierience and that it gave them more confidence. I can't find a matching article on their site and he didn't mention the size of the survey.

Okay, IFT confuses me every time. At the end of the commentary, there appears to be reference to an article that this is all about. But I can't find any reference to said article, so I can't read it.

As with most of IFT's stuff, I find that he makes some excellent points but I'm left still wondering if I agree with the piece as a whole - because I don't fully understand which point he's making.

Shawn, I agree.... they should've linked to the article by Lemire.
