Traditional Values

2002-09-23 18:40:04+02 by TC 2 comments

Dancers from Papua New Guinea have been urged to take off their bras and underpants in the interests of tradition!...(oh crap now I have fiddler on the roof sound track playing in the head). I think naked is cool but I think canabalism was a tradition too. How about? Don't wear bras & panties because they look stupid with the costume?

Similar traditionalist sentiments were seen recently in London, during the march of rural residents demanding more attention from the Labour government. Judging from this picture, they'll get it.

Hah.

I was expecting to see a bunch of naked people dyed purple, their hair spiked like punk rockers with lime. Now THAT would be traditional Briton dress.

Oh well.
