Brad made a smarmy comment about this year's National Coming Out Day theme: "Being Out Rocks!". So does that have something to do with the recent KRON TV "puppetry of the penis" incident?

A friend sent me email today saying he caught the "Puppetry" guys on Jay Leno last night. I asked him how much he actually caught, but he chose to ignore my query; this mention about the KRON appearance leads me to believe they may have demonstrated the intricacies of their art quite clearly. I've got tickets to see them on Nov. 1; will report in, if there's any interest. (Charlie's seen them before, and says they're entertaining, but not "important" on the level of, say, The Vagina Monologues. Or maybe it's because he's a guy and it gives him shivers to watch their contortions. Or maybe he's envious.)

All the better, then, that I'm not going tonight anyway. More time to write my novel!
